A grant to participate in the ETCC 2026 congress in Prague, Czech Republic, June 30 & July 1-2, 2026

The congress

Under the umbrella of the FATIPEC organization, the European Technical Coatings Congress (ETCC) will be organized in Prague, Czech Republic on 30 June and 1-2 July 2026.

Papers can be submitted for one of the following topics: coatings for wood, coatings for corrosion protection, coatings for construction, adhesives, sealants, inks, pigments, fillers, additives, AI & digitalization, sustainability and defossilisation, processing, production, application techniques, modelling, measuring, testing, safety, legislation and regulation.

The grant

The FATIPEC Board wishes to stimulate the participation of young scientists from the whole of Europe. To this purpose it has been decided to sponsor the participation of one young scientist per country. The grant will cover: congress fee, travel costs and the costs of hotel and food. A young scientist means: students, graduates, PhD students and Post Docs active at a (technical) university or high school in Belgium or young researchers active in the Belgian coating industry (age up to 35 years). In return the applicant is asked to present a poster or a paper during the congress.

Application for the grant

Applicants are asked to submit an abstract for a poster or a paper to ATIPIC info@atipic.be (via a Word or pdf file) by January 15th, 2026, latest. The abstract must be written in English and should contain at least: title of the poster or paper, name of the applicant, affiliated university, high school or company, the research objective, the approach, results and conclusions.

The selection process for this grant will be executed under the responsibility of the Board of ATIPIC.
